Our phase one consultation took place from 12 October until 21 December 2022.

We received really valuable feedback from local people and other stakeholders and want to thank everyone for taking part in the consultation.

How your views will help shape our plans

Your local knowledge is very valuable to us and we welcome any feedback you have on our proposals. It will help us to further understand any potential impacts and opportunities from the project so we can consider those as we develop our plans.

What happens next?

Our phase two consultation starts on 30 May 2024.

We will be welcoming the valued feedback of the local community and other stakeholders on our latest proposals.

We will be updating people on a new emerging design for the reservoir and outlining our proposals for the associated water infrastructure needed to fill the reservoir, treat the water, and distribute it to homes and businesses.
